I was a little tired of the tag list and old search I've implemented alternatives. Google's search was malfunctioning, and the tag list was getting lengthy.

Back to what I said before, I've scraped the old search, as it was bringing up old deleted posts. So now we have a new one. Just type your query and hit enter to search.

I've added a Tag Cloud instead of just a list, I like the look much more.

Music: Main Theme

Out of complete randomness, music was mentioned to me. I got to thinking and its a fun idea. So first thing's first the Main Theme. I have to tell you that I love jpop so thats what the blog's music is gonna be made up of, plus this blog is about a very Japanese comic (aka. manga). Here are a few newer releases I'm thinking about.

～Ai Otsuka (大塚愛)～

My first thoughts were any track from Ai Otsuka's upcoming single「kurage,nagareboshi」.

1. クラゲ、流れ星
It's a ballad but a darn good one, reminiscent of her older hits like「Kingyo Hanabi」.

2. H2O
H2O is a fun song, I haven't heard a very high quality recording yet, but I like it.

3. 雨の粒、ワルツ～LOVE MUSiC～
Something about this song is too charming to pass up. Too bad I cant think of it.

Next I thought of a bit older release that I like.

I really like the cute yet sophisticated air of the song.

3. LIFE - LOVE CIRCLE
It's Ai's only full-english song and it's very cute.

Ayu has a new song in the works and I'm sure it will be good. Even if I haven't even heard it.

～Kumi Koda (倖田來未)～

Even with all the controversy I still like kuu.

4.Lady Go!
It's such a fun song and I think it will fit well as a main theme.

Blog: Version 2.0

After the first lengthy post, I've mad some changes to the blog. It's a complete overhaul so it's officially ver2.0 .
I've added a search engine「chu search」after dicovering blogger.draft. The comments system for blogger is terrible, and I didn't like any of the hacks to I implemented the provided inline comments provided by the draft. I've even made a new layout! I noticed that Ai otsuka's 4th album「LOVE PiECE」is a lot like 「Chu Piece」 maybe it was a subconscious decision to name the site that, but there similar.

Designs: Eyes

One of the biggest features of manga characters are there eyes. I've been juggling around some ideas, but I haven't decided any one. I've researched a few of my favourite anime and manga and here is what I've come up with.

I've also labeled each style with a name to easily identify each.

Piece 【realistic, rounded】

This is my personal style of eyes. It's a bit of a tweak on the Chobits eye.

It is my personal style so there a few odd things that I'll explain. I like the double fold in the eye, a single seems a little odd to me. When I try to draw a single fold something always looks of to me. I put a few eyelashes on males because I rather like the 処女〖Shojo〗look. For girls I'd add some upper lashes. Now for the manga I was looking for some different shading than my norm〖the big one〗, so I tried a few as you can see, but I didn't really like any.

Peach 【chibi, rounded】

Peach is a mix of Piece and Starfish. At the time I was trying to make an eye similar to Clannad or School Days. I tried The dreaded single fold and I still don't like it. It is more of an experiment than an eye design.

Starfish 【chibi, blocked】

Starfish is very similar to the eyes in Clannad hence the name〖if you watch the show you'll know〗. I like the shading of the original but I tried other techniques for fun. Unfortunaley the school days eye came out creepy. The only problem I have with this style is the fact that it is very hard for me to draw.

I really can't decide between the styles so please give me your input on the styles.
